Additional technologies such as thread cutting, drilling, eroding and wire cutting round off the production spectrum.
We also offer a range of other finishing options in the areas of surface technology, such as hard oxidation, passivation and chrome plating.
Processable metals
The metals that can be processed include aluminium, stainless steel, aluminium steels, bronze, brass, steel, titanium and carbon steel.
Processable plastics
Processable plastics include ABS, PC, PMMA, POM, PA, PP, PET, PVC, CPVC, PS, LDPE, HDPE, PSU, PPSU, nylon, PEEK, PEI and polycarbonates.
Tolerances
Our working methods are geared towards compliance with the ISO 2768 CNC machine standard. As a rule, the tolerances according to ISO 2768 (medium) and ISO 2768 (fine) are used. If tighter tolerances are required, a corresponding declaration in the drawings is necessary. Please contact us to discuss further options.

The following should be noted with regard to the edge finish: The corners of the component are removed in the form of a chamfer or radius as shown in the drawing provided for the job. Specify the size of the resulting chamfer or radius.
Possible component post-processing
Surface treatment after machining changes the appearance, surface roughness, hardness and chemical resistance of the manufactured parts. This not only fulfils the functional requirements, but also protects and enhances the machined parts.
The following technologies are available for processing:
Anodising, grinding and polishing, bead blasting and anodising, water plating, steam polishing, passivation, hard oxidation, powder coating, painting, chrome plating, electrophoresis, electropolishing, sandblasting, heat treatment, brushing, electroplating

Injection moulding
We manufacture injection moulded parts for small series production, entirely according to individual component requirements.
Plastic injection moulding and mould production
General information
We are specialists in the injection moulding of small series.
We use moulding materials such as epoxy and polyester, which are filled with metal, quartz sand and other fillers. We also use low/medium melting point alloys to produce simple structural moulds. This type of mould has a simple manufacturing process, a short cycle and a low price. This is ideal for small and medium batches. Quantities from 500 to 5,000 parts can be produced with single or multiple cavities. We also offer polishing and texturing for the surface of the moulds.
For large batches, we use the standard mould process.
Materials for injection moulding
Here you will find a list of our standard materials for injection moulding. If you require customised information, please contact us.
POM, PC-ABS, ABS, PET, PA66, PMMA, PA-GF, PPS, HDPE, PP, LDPE, PS, PBT, PS-PPE, PC, TPE, PC-GF, TPV
Component finishing
- Polishing
Polishing is used to reduce the surface roughness and to obtain a smooth, mirror-like surface. - Laser engraving
A surface treatment process based on optical principles. - Texturing
Is a surface treatment of moulds which improves the beauty and strength of the surface. - Pad printing
A printing process in which text, graphics and images are applied to irregularly shaped surfaces. - Individual colour coating
The use of an air pressure gun enables the colourant to be applied evenly and efficiently to the surface to be treated. - Screen printing
The screen printing process is the method of choice in advertising technology and labelling, in textile and ceramic printing, for high-quality effect finishes and in industrial printing. - Heat treatment
Heat treatment results in a change in the chemical composition and structure in the solid state.

Sheet metal processing
We offer sheet metal processing from laser cutting and subsequent bending and post-processing.
Sheet metal processing
Manufacturing technologies
Our range of services includes laser metal cutting and bending for the production of sheet metal parts. The automated cutting process we use guarantees high precision and quality parts. All parts can be reworked according to your requirements: This includes coating, heat treatment and other processes.

Vacuum casting
Vacuum casting with silicone moulds is ideal for small quantities, different colours, finishes and material properties.
Vacuum casting
Production technologies
Vacuum casting is the most economical alternative to small-series injection moulding of plastic parts. This method allows you to simulate the final moulded part or finished product. The mould is made from silicone rubber and a CNC or SLA part serves as the master. These moulds replicate details and textures and ensure a uniform surface from one part to the next.
Silicone or resin moulds can be used for higher accuracy of up to +/-0.1 mm. Reaction injection moulding (RIM production) is ideal for large components and varying wall thicknesses.
Vacuum casting enables the casting of two-colour components, the recasting of components and insert casting.

Surface finishing
With our wide range of colour material finish options, components or mockups are given the appearance of a series product.
Surface finishing
Honpe is the first port of call for surface treatment services. We have a CMF guide book (Colour, Material, Finish) and an exhibition area for colour cards. Customers come to us to learn all about the latest trends in colour matching. We help our customers find CMF solutions that best suit their design requirements. Or they can come to us for inspiration on new CMF technology applications.
